Non-Academic Committee

The Non-academic Head has a wide range of responsibilities in terms of managing all Co-curricular activities and ensuring that the facilities of the school and its aesthetic beauty are effectively maintained and strategically developed. Co-curricular activities (CCAs) or Extracurricular Activities (ECA) are the components of the non-academic curriculum which help to develop various facets of the personality development of the students. Co-curricular activities facilitate the development of various domains of mind and personality such as intellectual development, emotional development, social development, moral development, and aesthetic development.

 Develop vision and strategy towards the development of structural/physical ambiance for the school.
 Make the commitment to operational excellence with a clear vision to develop the school’s future potential.
 Ensure that all related documents or files (school land, school profile, club reports, capital work planning, construction equipment, furniture, and other associated goods) are kept and maintained well both in hard and soft copy.
 Ensure timely inspections of the school buildings, fencing, toilets, and grounds.
 Help the school administration prepares a five-year rolling plan.
 Monitor the maintenance of the utility infrastructure of the school.
 Upkeep of all school buildings (toilets, kitchen, hostels, academic buildings, and administrative structures).
 Ensure the security of all school buildings and property, the proper operation of the school’s CCTV systems, and compliance with regulations.
 Ensure upkeep of the grounds, gardens, roadways, and paths on all school-owned premises.
 Manage the school’s sporting facilities and ensure sports grounds are fit for purpose in conjunction with the SSI.
