The school discipline coordinator presented on the school discipline management policy. The cooridnator presented on aims and objectives of school discipline management policy, made aware on the committee members and their roles and responsibilities.
The coordinator made aware to all the teachers on the following:
- roles of each stake holder
- roles of class teachers, warden, matron and each teacher individual in correcting students
- emphasised on using forms while correcting the students
- presented on what offences fall under each level and showed on how to take measures on each offence level
The coordinator requested all teachers to use proper channel while taking disciplinary actions against the students. Finally, the program ended with the statement from presenter ‘Discipline management policy is not to punish but to correct the students’.
