The Academic Head conducted meeting with HODs

Today the School academic head conducted meeting with HODs. During the meeting following points were discussed:

For the academic year 2022 there will be total of 25 sections. The sections distribution are as follows:

  • Class VII will have 5 sections
  • Classs VIII there will have 5 sections
  • Class Class IX there will be 4 sections
  • Class X there will be 3 sections
  • Class Class XI there will have four sections (one section of science stream and rest arts and commerce sections).

Since school doesn’t have trained teacher for the Agriculture and EVS, the members decided to phase out the optional subject (agriculture and EVS)  this year.

 

The school will offer following optional subjects choice for class XI students this year:

  • Maths
  • Eco
  • Rigzhung

For those students who are opting for science stream, they will have to take mathematics and biology as compulsory subjects and for those who are opting Commerce will have to take mathematics.

Despite two functional ICT labs, school will not able to give three ICT periods for each class level. However, for class XII and X will be allocated with three periods each.

For those classes allocated with two periods of ICT will be fit in with value class, the subject will be taught by VP.

Since school doesn’t have HP teacher, the floor requested school to put requisition for one HP teacher.

Since school does not have a teacher who can competently teach Art education, the school will phase out this subject till the school receives the specialist for the subject.

Unit test will be conducted once in a week. The HOD should guide and monitor their members to set up competent base questions.

Co-curricular activities like literary activities, Club and SUPW will be carried out only on Saturday.

The HOD to sit with members and discuss on the distribution of subjects. On the completion of subject distribution among their members, HOD to upload final subject distribution details on Shared Google drive.
